African folk tales: Why ants carry heavy burdens

Anansi and his son Kaveku - both were very clever farmers. The fields of both of them were different and each year there was a lush green crop. One year, unfortunately, he sowed his best seed farm but due to lack of rain, there was nothing in his farm.

Sad Kweku was walking on his dry farm and wondering where his family would get food from this year. He saw a humble dwarf sitting on the field. The dwarf asked the reason for Khewuki being depressed. On telling Kweli, the dwarf said that he will help him in bringing rain in the field. He told Kweku that he brought two small logs from somewhere and played them on the hunch of a hawk. Kweku did the same. They both sang:

"Water, water go up;

Come down as rain! "

Seeing this, there was no room for the happiness of Kveku, that there was strong rain in the village and the soil of the farm absorbed the whole water. The next day, the seedlings sprouted and the good crop began to grow.

Anansi soon got news of a good crop in Kawaku farm. His own farm was dry. He went to Kaveku and asked the reason for rain from Kaveku. Kaveeku's mind was clear and he told his dad about a humble dwarf.

Anansi decided to bring water in his farm in the same way. He took two thick timber and thought - "My son has worked with small cloves with a dwarf. I will make double the rain by using thick woods. "

When he saw a humble dwarf coming towards him, he carefully hid both the woods. As before, the humped dwarfs asked for the reason of being unhappy, and Nyan as told him his problem. Humble said to him - "Bring two small timber from somewhere and play them like a drum on my hunch. I will call the rain. "

But Ananya picked up his thick woods and beat him with a loud dwarf so badly that the poor dwarf died. Anansi was very scared to see this because he knew that the dwarf was the Joker's favorite king. He started to think about who was responsible for this incident, who was responsible for it. He raised the dead body of the dwarf and took it to a cola tree. He placed the dead dwarf on the upper branch of the tree and sat down under the tree and waited for someone to come.

Meanwhile, Kaweko came to see if he had success in raining his father. He saw his father sitting alone under the tree and asked him - "Father, did not you get a hunchback dwarf?"

Anansi said - "got it." But he has climbed the tree to take the cola and I am waiting for it. "

"I climb up and bring it down" - Kweku said and he immediately climbed the tree. As soon as he touched the dwarf on top of the tree, the dwarf fell below the dharma. "

"Hey, what have you done!" - The tricky unanswered shouted - "You killed the king's favorite Joker!

"Yes!" - Kweku said. So far he had understood his father's move. He said, "The king is very angry with him and he has promised to give a pouch to the winner who kills the dwarf. I will go and take my prize now. "

"No! No! "- Ananas shouted -" I'll take the reward! I beat him with two thick blocks of wood. I will take him to the king! "

"OK" - Kweku said - "If you hit him, take you away".

In the greed of getting a reward, he took away the corpse of the dwarf. The king was very angry with the knowledge of the death of his beloved dwarf. He closed the dead body of a dwarf in a big box and ordered that Nanyasi would always carry that box on his head as punishment. The king made such magic spell on the box that the box could never be landed. Anansi could get rid of that box only by placing it on someone else's head and no one was willing to do so.

Unani pulled the box on its head and became a bit dreary. One day he got an ant on the way. Ananya asked the ant - "Would you keep this box on your head for some time? I have to go to the market and buy some important things. "

Ani said to Anaasi - "Unani, I understand all your cleverness. You want to get rid of this box ".

"No no. It's not like this. I'm telling the truth that I'll be back soon and take this box from you! "- Talk about unanswered.

Poor Bhali-Bhali came under the patronage of Ananti. He took the box on his head. Unani did not come back after going from there. Ants kept looking at her life and died a day. In the memory of the same ant, all the ants carry heavy and heavy loads from their bodies.
